Our Story

The MBBG was founded in 2009 and still retains members from the early days.  Initial meetings were held at Real Estate Agent David Pascoes’s home, before shifting to various cafe’s around Mount Barker.

The main purpose of the group then, as now, was to bring together local business people to share expertise, ideas, and fellowship in their roles of business owners and managers.

Working with many people across a variety of small and large organisations, I helped many people grow. So, in 2020, I launched Sheena Trumble, Your Business Partner.

Deciding to finally enjoy a better work/life balance, this opportunity has enabled me to do something that I am passionate about, and affords me the lifestyle that I deserve. I help people overcome the barriers that business life can bring.

For the first time in my life, I can truly say I am in my zone of genius. I don’t feel like my work is a ‘job’. I enable, empower, and nurture people to become the best versions of themselves.

I have been in the finance industry for 20+ years, working for most of the major banks and supporting small to medium clients across a range of industries.

In the last 7 years I’ve been working with businesses across the Hills, Murraylands and Fleurieu Peninsula. As a local business banker, I care about clients, community, and good customer services.

I call the Hills home and am enthusiastic about our community. I joined the MBBG to network with local businesses and offer my support and networks to local businesses. Finance is not everyone’s favourite flavour, but someone must do it!
